You reported an intimate photo or video shared without your consent. But 48 hours later, the platform hasn’t taken it down or responded to your request. Now what? Report the platform to the FTC at TakeItDown.ftc.gov to help keep platforms accountable for complying with the Take It Down Act. Here’s how. Go to TakeItDown.ftc.gov . Tell us the name of the platform you’re reporting and as much as you can about where the image was posted. Include as much as you want about yourself — or the person who you’re reporting for. Then tap “Submit.” If someone violated your trust and privacy by sharing your intimate images online without your consent, support is available. At TakeItDown.ftc.gov , you’ll find resources to help stop your intimate images from spreading online, connect with organizations that can provide support, and report the person who posted the images to law enforcement.
